Welcome to The Tea Centre
From humble beginnings as a small Sydney store, we've grown to be Australia's most trusted tea experts.

About The Tea Centre
In 1993, specialty tea stores were almost unheard of in Australia. That's when a tea-loving Swede saw the opportunity and teamed up with an Australian entrepreneur to open The Tea Centre's first store in Paddington, Sydney.
Thirty years later, The Tea Centre has expanded to ten locations across Queensland, New South Wales, and the ACT, as well as our online store. Despite changes in ownership over the years, The Tea Centre remains 100% Australian-owned and operated, based out of our Brisbane head office.
Today, our mission remains unchanged: to provide tea lovers with the finest loose leaf, premium teas that are ethically sourced and crafted for Australian taste buds.
