A beautiful teapot sits at the heart of every tea ritual. Our collection brings together glass, Japanese ceramic and stainless steel teapots, alongside classic designs for afternoon tea, in sizes for one or two through to the whole table. Many have a fine stainless steel infuser, so you can lift the leaves out the moment your tea is ready.

Buying a teapot

Which teapot should I buy?

  • Glass teapots: watch the leaves unfurl as they brew, lovely for green, white and herbal teas.
  • Japanese ceramic teapots: hand-painted designs, made in Japan, each with a stainless steel infuser.
  • Stainless steel teapots: double walled to keep tea hot for longer.
  • Classic teapots: for afternoon tea, paired with a cup and saucer.

What size teapot do I need?

A cup of tea is about 200 to 250ml, so a 500ml teapot pours about 2 cups, a 1L teapot about 4 and a 1.2L teapot about 5. You'll find the size of each teapot on its product page.

Care and gifting

Hand wash glass and ceramic teapots, and dry the infuser fully before storing. A teapot makes a lasting gift: pair one with a favourite loose leaf tea, or choose a tea set with a teapot and cups together.
