Our sustainability mission

The Tea Centre has been moving towards being plastic-free, and are currently using a majority of recyclable or reclaimed materials in how our products are packaged and sent to you. We aim to be fully plastic free by 2026.

From our supplier, to your doorstep.

When you purchase from our online store, you may sometimes notice that the box you receive your order in has been lightly used and was previously labeled.

These boxes are how we receive our bulk batches of tea from our supplier, which we then use to package online orders.

Re-purposing these boxes is a great way to minimise unnecessary packaging waste.

Top up a tin in-store

In store and online, you'll find a range of tea tins to help keep your tea fresher for longer - these also reduce the need for disposable packaging.

As an incentive to save on packaging, head to any of our stores on Tuesday to take advantage of our Tin Top Up Tuesday deal - save 20% when you fill up a tin of tea!

If you don't already have a tea tin (and don't want one), we can fill up your glass jar, favourite Tupperware, or bottles - just as long as they have a lid and are clean and dry.
