Our strongest, most gutsy black tea to date, Assam Dimakusi Tea is a single origin Assam, produced using the Crush Tear Curl (CTC) method for a rich and malty brew. This tea's broken tea leaves are rolled into tight balls during the manufacturing process, which then unfurl when brewed to release maximum flavour.
Assam Dimakusi Tea is best enjoyed whilst reading the morning newspaper. This tea is perfect as is, or can be enjoyed with a splash of milk and sweetener of your choice.

"The little CTC balls impart excellent flavour which make it good for a morning or early afternoon pickmeup. I wouldn't drink in the evening but this tea has a solid niche when you want a delicious strong tea with all the nuance of flavour and is 100% right for that niche."

"Too strong for me it leaves a horrible taste in my mouth for hours. The Irish tea is nicer for those who want to taste tea without being to overpowering and strong."

"Since purchasing this tea, when it was first recommended to me when there was a Store in Emporium in Melbourne, it is still always my number one "go to" for a bold, not bitter strong tea. Makes the perfect cuppa every time."
