Lemon Myrtle Iced Tea Spritz Recipe

Lemon Myrtle Iced Tea Spritz Recipe

Posted on

Everyone loves a good spritz - especially since the rise in popularity of the Aperol spritz in recent years. Sometimes though, you want an alcohol-free version - especially if you’re entertaining with kids. This Lemon Myrtle Iced Tea Spritz is a refreshing alcohol-free take on a classic spritz that’s the perfect accompaniment to your entertaining menu, or afternoon tea party (plus it’s low sugar & can be made sugar free with the use of sugar free lemonade).

Ingredients:

  • 2-3 teaspoons Lemon Myrtle Loose Leaf Tea OR 2-3 Tea Bags
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups lemonade
  • Ice, to serve
  • Your choice of garnish (try herbs like mint, rosemary, or thyme for a delicious twist)
  • Lemon slices, to serve

Instructions:

  1. Fill a jug or container with 2 cups of water (room temperature is fine), and add your Lemon Myrtle tea leaves or bags. If you use loose leaves, it may be handy to use something like a Tea Net or infuser basket to make it easier to strain your tea.
  2.  Pop this in the fridge for 8 hours or overnight to infuse.
  3. When ready to serve, pour your lemon myrtle infusion into a jug over plenty of ice.
  4. Top your jug with 2 cups of lemonade
  5. Garnish with your choice of fresh herbal garnish and lemon slices
  6. Serve & enjoy!

Tip:

Why not try making other flavours of this herbal spritz? We think this would be delicious made with our Hibiscus Tea, Rose Petal Tea, Davidson's Plum & Rosella Tea, or Desert Lime & Lemon Myrtle Tea.
