A perfect balance between sweet and spiced, Mumbai Chai is one of our most popular chai blends, combining black tea, sweet vanilla flavour, and Ayurvedic warming spices including clove, ginger, cinnamon, cardamom, and more.

Mumbai Chai is best enjoyed whilst wandering through a colourful spice market in Delhi. You can brew this like a normal tea, or brew up an indulgent stovetop chai, infused with the creaminess of milk and sweetness of honey.

Care Instructions

Origin

How to brew

You will need:

  • A Tea Centre chai (3–4 tsp)
  • Water (1 mug)
  • Milk (1 mug)
  • Honey (or preferred sweetener)
  • Medium saucepan
  • Strainer

Method:

  1. Pour water into a saucepan & scoop in 3–4 teaspoons of chai
  2. Bring mixture to a simmer on medium heat
  3. Add the mug of milk and bring to simmer again
  4. Simmer for at least 5 minutes before turning off the heat
  5. Stir in a dollop of honey
  6. Pour mixture through strainer into mugs. Enjoy!
