Decaffeinated black tea, orange peel, fennel, cinnamon, liquorice, juniper berry, clove, cardamom, vanilla, ginger, green peppercorn, and flavour.

Our decaf tea range undergoes the European decaffeination method (also known as the CO2 method). This method is a 100% natural decaffeination process using CO2 to gently remove caffeine without the use of harmful chemicals, high temperatures, or high pressures.

A naturally decaffeinated version of our perfectly balanced chai blend, Decaf Mumbai Chai Tea features all the same sweet vanilla and spicy flavours you know and love, on a decaf black tea base.

Decaf Mumbai Chai Tea is best enjoyed as a warming pick me up during a rainy day. You can brew this like a normal tea, or brew up an indulgent stovetop chai, infused with the creaminess of milk and sweetness of honey.

How to brew

You will need:

  • A Tea Centre chai (3–4 tsp)
  • Water (1 mug)
  • Milk (1 mug)
  • Honey (or preferred sweetener)
  • Medium saucepan
  • Strainer

Method:

  1. Pour water into a saucepan & scoop in 3–4 teaspoons of chai
  2. Bring mixture to a simmer on medium heat
  3. Add the mug of milk and bring to simmer again
  4. Simmer for at least 5 minutes before turning off the heat
  5. Stir in a dollop of honey
  6. Pour mixture through strainer into mugs. Enjoy!
