How to brew

Brewing instructions:

  1. Pre-warm your glass teapot or jug with hot water to hold the temperature.
  2. Heat 1L of fresh water to 80°C, or boil and let it cool for 3 minutes.
  3. Unwrap the tea ball and place it in the centre of your vessel.
  4. Pour the water around the ball, not onto it, so small pieces don't break off.
  5. Watch it bloom as it sinks and slowly unfurls into a flower over several minutes.
  6. Steep for up to 8–10 minutes, then pour and enjoy.

Re-steeping tips:

  • Each tea ball makes 4 cups.
  • Refill with fresh 80°C water and steep slightly longer each time.
