More about this product

A smattering of sapid pepperberry leaves and cinnamon taste brings out the hidden wild side of this rich black tea blend - a botanical harkening from Tasmania, the ecological Eden that prospers on the edge of the world. Its agrestal mountains boast the cool climate that’s key to growing pepperberry shrubs bursting with antioxidants and flavour.

We combine the leaves of pepperberry with the health benefits of aniseed myrtle. In doing so, we create a tonic that is thought to aid with digestion, immunity, and relaxation. This blend also takes inspiration from the traditional medicine teachings of Aboriginal Australians, the first cultivators of these ingredients in Australia. The end result is a sweet tea infusion with tart Tasmanian notes paired with the maltiness of Daintree black tea.

Pepperberry & Cinnamon Myrtle Tea is best enjoyed whilst spotting Wombats on Cradle Mountain's expansive trails. This tea is perfect as is, or with a splash of milk.

Love this tea

"Great flavour combo. Would recommend."

Brew longer for best results

"A very light, subtle tea - so good for evenings and warmer weather. I recommend brewing it for at least 5 minutes - it can be a bit weak otherwise and the lemon myrtle doesn't come through as much."

"I took a risk with this one. It turned out to be very enjoyable. Thanks."

Blackcurrant Tea

"This blend tasted exactly like blackcurrant tea, so much so I had to check the blend to make sure there weren't pieces of blackcurrant in the blend. I ouldn't perceive any pepperberry or cinnaomn myrtle. It's bizare."
