More about this product

Akin to springtime in a cup, Pai Mu Tan is a classic, traditional Chinese white tea hailing from the Fujian province. This brew has an exquisite pale gold colour upon infusion and a bright peony aroma. As a white tea, this is one of our least processed loose leaf blends. As a result, it offers subtle, refreshing flavours.

Pai Mu Tan Tea is best enjoyed in a traditional teahouse nestled within a tranquil bamboo forest. This tea is perfect as is - the addition of milk may overpower the subtle and refined flavour notes in this delicate tea.

Very pleasant

"Not a punchy flavour, but complex, slightly floral. Lasts well all day in my tea flask without losing its freshness."

Larissa D. (5/5)

Nice first try of white tea

"It was a easy tea to drink. Not a lot of flavour, but it was smooth and not overpowering. I had a few friends taste it as well and they liked it more than green tea. It would be a nice morning tea or brunch as it doesn't take away from the food you eat. I did get the shakes afterwards though as white tea doesn't always agree with my nervous system."

Samantha P. (3/5)
