Akin to springtime in a cup, Pai Mu Tan Organic is a classic, traditional Chinese white tea hailing from the Fujian province. This brew has an exquisite pale gold colour upon infusion and a bright peony aroma. As a white tea, this is one of our least processed loose leaf blends. As a result, it offers subtle, refreshing flavours.

Pai Mu Tan Organic Tea is best enjoyed in a traditional teahouse nestled within a tranquil bamboo forest. This tea is perfect as is - the addition of milk may overpower the subtle and refined flavour notes in this delicate tea.

How to brew

Steep for 3-5 minutes in 70C water. We recommend using 1 teaspoon per 200ml.

"Delicate white tea. I am fussy with my tea being descendent of Chinese tea producer. I suspect some flavour has been lost due to importing and storage or perhaps the tea may be from last year. However I still gave a 4 out of 5 because I don’t think there’s any better choice here. For an average person this would be an excellent tea."
