Strong, familiar flavours imbue our tea comprised of warming ginger and pure Australian lemongrass. Known as maarr by the Nyul Nyul people of Western Australia, wild-harvest lemongrass (Cymbopogon ambiguus) is well documented for its traditional bush medicine properties. Indigenous communities in Western, Northern, and Central Australia cultivate native lemongrass to remedy ailments throughout the body; from headaches and upset bellies to chest infections and muscle cramps.

We also use fibrous ginger in this blend. Harvested when the botanical is at full maturity, fluffy ginger not only looks beautiful but lends the tea a striking aroma. Expect luscious citrus notes paired with a little bite and spice from the ginger.

Native Lemongrass & Ginger Tea is a particularly good sip for when you feel under the weather. This tea is perfect as is, without the addition of sweeteners.

How to brew

Steep for 4-7 minutes in 95C water. We recommend using 1 teaspoon per 200ml.

Loose leaf does not come in a sealed bag

"The tea looks and smells beautiful - I bought the loose leaf tin and was so excited to gift it as a souvenir. The tin itself also adds another touch as a thoughtful gift from Australia. Thankfully I opened the tin before leaving for my trip and to my dismay, the tea was not sealed! It has just been scooped into the container with stickers placed. Unfortunately I wasn't able to bring it with me and gift it. I'm really shocked the tea isn't in a separate sealed bag. So unless you buy the tea bags - you're not able to gift this tea abroad."

"I love lemongrass teas and was really excited to find this one, however it was not drinkable. I tried a few times, but in the end had to throw it out. The only good thing about this tea was the container (cute)."
