More about this product

Also known as Dragonwell Tea and Longjing Tea, Lung Ching Grade 1 Tea is a premium pan-roasted green tea, sourced from a small city in the Zhejiang province. Celebrated for it's fresh aroma, full-bodied taste, and clean finish, this tea is harvested in the first flush from late March to early April, resulting in tender shoots, rich character, and a sweet flavour.

Lung Ching Grade 1 Tea is best enjoyed whilst sitting in a steam-filled hot spring. This tea is perfect as is - the delicate flavours in this brew may be marred by the addition of milk and sweeteners.

Love this tea? We think you'll love our other Chinese green teas, including our Lung Ching Grade 3 and Jasmine Monkey King Tea. Be sure to explore our full range of Global Green Teas while you're here!

A light, enjoyable refreshing tea.

"My husband and I first tasted this tea at the Longjing Tea Plantation in China. We purchased some tea whilst we were there and when we had finished it we were pleased to be able to buy some from The Tea Centre. It is as good as the original and we have been enjoying it for the past 6 months."

Lung Ching Grade 1 Tea

"good tea, slightly bitter if steeped too long"

David J. (4/5)

Lung Ching

"It is a very gentle tea with literally no hint of bitterness. Due to this gentleness I find it needs to draw a little longer than other more robust green teas. That is not a criticism though."
