One of the world’s oldest, boldest, and arguably smokiest black teas, Lapsang Souchong Tea is a fragrant and strong brew with a distinctive smoky flavour. Believed to be one of the first black teas to come into existence, Lapsang Souchong Translates to 'pinewood small leaves' in English, after the pinewood fires this tea is traditionally smoked over.
Lapsang Souchong Tea is best enjoyed around the campfire, roasted marshmallow in hand. This tea is perfect as is, or with a small splash of milk.

"Superb tea. As nice as they come."

"Bought for a friend who’s now telling me this is his new favourite tea. He’s never tasted anything so magnificent in his life."

"Lapsang Souchang tea is convenience itself in the kitchen. If you want to get a quick smoke flavour in your food, put a few leaves in bottom of a steamer with food on steaming tray and pop in oven. We chargrilled corn on the gas and smoked for 5 mins and was nom nom nom. Get creative, there are other ways to use in kitchen with this smoky tea. ."

"Strong without being bitter. A great smoke flavour. Loving this tea so I had to get more. Forgot to increase my latest grams ordered to last longer. I will have to order again sooner rather than later."
— Sue P. (5/5)
"Nice tea but again not Smokey enough for me"
— Indybah I. (3/5)
"Unless I’ve become inured to the Lapsang Souchong flavour, it appears to lack the strong Smokey qualities that I like. And it is also very expensive."
