Once again, we approach the end of the year and the Festive Season. Christmas is a time for joy and family, but that doesn’t make it stress free. There’s food to prep, gifts to wrap, and all those decorations to put up. If Santa thinks his list is long, he should see the ‘to-do’ list that makes the real magic happen!
Maintaining that classic Christmas cheer can get a bit challenging, and the seasonal stress can often leave us a glimmer short of a glitter. Luckily, one of the best ways to shed the stress is to sit down with a nice cuppa and take a moment to recharge that Yuletide sparkle. But what to drink? Well, let us introduce you to Five Festive Brews!
Christmas Green
How could we possibly start a list like this without a tea that has Christmas in its very name? This divine little blend has been carefully crafted to taste like one of those glorious plum puddings that adorn our tables at this time of year. Fruity, nutty, and with just a touch of spice, this brew should bring back that Christmas cheer in a heartbeat. With a base of soft green tea, our Christmas Green Tea makes a great option when you need to wind down this festive season.
Glögg
Ah, Mulled Wine. For those of us of a European background, few things bring out the festive spirit like the spices and fruit of this warming Christmas concoction. In this case though, we’ve swapped out the wine for tea. Now you can enjoy those delightful notes of Orange, Cinnamon, Clove, and Ginger any time of day you like. Our Glögg blend is especially nice when enjoyed alongside a sweet treat like Spekulatius, Lebkuchen, or Pfeffernüsse.
Fireside Rooibos
Continuing the theme of citrus and spice, you could try our Fireside Rooibos. One very traditional table decoration at Christmas, is a dish of Pomanders. These are oranges, sometimes carved with patterns, studded with cloves, and laid atop a few cinnamon quills. Light a couple of candles around the display and the whole house will smell like Christmas. We’ve taken those same flavours and put them into this blend. The added benefit here, is that Rooibos is caffeine free. An excellent choice for junior sippers, or for anyone who needs a good night’s rest.
Strawberries & Cream
If you were to ask, ‘what is the favourite Aussie Christmas dessert?’, then most people are just about guaranteed to say Pavlova. It’s sweet and creamy, but with a nice refreshing tang from the berries on top. With that in mind, why not try our Strawberries & Cream blend? We’ve taken those same flavours and mixed them into a delicious black tea bend. For a most Australian flair, this could be the brew for you.
Peppermint & Liquorice
Perhaps the most iconic sweet of the season is that bright red and white striped candy cane. The refreshing waft of peppermint is a classic of the season, making our Peppermint & Liquorice just the thing to have. The Liquorice root adds that hint of sweetness but won’t give you a sugar rush. It’s a great blend for getting the pep back in your step after a hard day.
