Indulge in the centuries old tradition of Matcha with our ceremonial-grade Matcha Powder - a vibrant green and mildly algal brew from the Shizuoka prefecture in Japan. When whisked with hot water, this fine powder turns into a frothy beverage—no filtering required! While the matcha foam is a bright avocado green when whisked, the drink itself brews a darker green.

Matcha Tea is best enjoyed as your morning brew to give you a boost of energy without the caffeine crash you get from coffee. This tea is perfect as is, or can be brewed into a delicious Matcha latte (hot or iced!)

Origin

Quality culinary (grade A) matcha green tea from Shizuoka, Japan.

Gluten Free & Vegan Friendly.

How to brew

One teaspoon of matcha powder and add to your cup or matcha bowl.

Pour in approximately 50ml of water at 80°C. Boiling water will burn the tea, making it bitter.

Whisk your matcha with a bamboo whisk or with a fork in an ‘M’ shape motion. Ensure that all lumps are broken up so that your matcha becomes frothy and smooth.

Top up your mixture with more hot water, stirring as you do.

Serve and enjoy!
