One of the most luxurious sips a tea drinker can experience, Gyokuro Tea (also known as Dewdrop tea) is an exquisite green tea with fresh and grassy tasting notes and a crisp algal aroma. Gyokuro is no commonplace tea and is best reserved for special occasions. Typically harvested in Spring, this tea features a darker brew and earthier flavour than other green teas.

Gyokuro Tea is best enjoyed at Yum Cha, celebrating the Lunar New Year with family. This tea is perfect as is - the delicate flavours in this brew may be marred by the addition of milk and sweeteners.

How to brew

Steep for 2 minutes in 80C water. We recommend using 1 teaspoon per 200ml.
