The Darjeeling connoisseur’s favourite flush, First Flush Darjeeling is a harmonious blend of leaves from tea gardens in India's Darjeeling district, resulting in a refreshing tea with a light amber appearance and aroma. Unlike our Second Flush Darjeeling, this loose leaf comes from the first spring harvest of crops (from March to May). Our Darjeeling’s FTGFOP1 tea grading denotes how only the youngest tender buds of the tea plant make up this tea.

First Flush Darjeeling Tea is best enjoyed in your grandparent's kitchen, with a freshly baked scone. This tea is perfect as is - the addition of milk may overpower the subtle flavour notes in this tea, due to it's lighter body.

Steep for 3-5 minutes in 95C water. We recommend using 1 teaspoon per 200ml.
