This prime example of fine tea from southern India is found at Parkside, the taste is round and soft, fruity and aromatic. Like many plantations founded during the 19th century, the tea bushes were planted by Chinese prisoners captured by the British during the Opium War.The tea is harvested all-year-round. The leaves are violet-brown, accompanied by just a few buds, which give a dark, rich brew similar to that of Ceylon teas. Perfect to drink in the morning.
Our Nilgiri Parkside FOP is quality tested to comply with strict European standards for any chemical or pesticide residues. Uniquely, the teas are then air freighted to Australia to maintain the finest quality and freshness for your enjoyment.
